While on a slow moving barge down a meandering stream in Southern France, we were honored to be guests in a chateau which, in the 18th century was the home of the owner of the surrounding forge. The interior of the chateau is occupied by a gracious lady of 83 who was born there, and it is normally “off limits” to visitors. “I only show my home to Americans, because I will never forget they saved France.”

The contrast between the blackness of the outside forge and the glitter of the inside of the chateau fascinated us to design this remembrance of a stalwart and charming lady. On a 3” black ball, but you COULD change the ball to any of our colors.
